ECG

The TIMI ECG Core Laboratory is dedicated to providing precise and timely data analyses for clinical research studies from static and continuous ECG recordings. The TIMI ECG Core Laboratory focuses primarily on patients presenting with acute coronary syndromes (ACS), as well as other cardiovascular conditions such as atrial fibrillation.

Static ECG Core Laboratory

The static ECG Core Lab provides quantitative assessment of 12-lead electrocardiograms. Our focus has been evaluating the effect of pharmacologic agents and strategies on improving reperfusion by measuring ST segment resolution in patients presenting with ST elevation MI. The Core Lab has analyzed over 17,000 static ECGs.

Continuous ECG Core Laboratory

The continuous ECG (cECG) Core Lab assesses various cardiac endpoints such as myocardial ischemia, cardiac arrhythmias, as well as novel electrocardiographic parameters such as heart rate variability (HRV), heart rate turbulence (HRT), deceleration capacity (DC), T-wave alternans (TWA), and morphologic variability (MV). The cECG Core Laboratory utilizes computer software specifically developed for the TIMI cECG Core Laboratory together with experienced clinical and technical oversight to provide the most rigorous analysis of cECG recordings. The cECG Core Lab has analyzed over 12,000 cECGs over the past 6 years as part of multiple clinical trials.
