The primary objective of this study was to use the VerifyNowTM P2Y12 assay to establish a level of % platelet inhibition below which CABG can be undertaken without increased risk of perioperative bleeding. The secondary goal was is to use the VerifyNowTM Aspirin assay to assess the degree of aspirin resistance in the study population (based on the ARU cut-off of 550), all of whom will have been taking aspirin prior enrollment.
